Service Description

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders rarely look like one singular diagnosis to treat. Behind the symptoms, many clients carry a mix of intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, shame, hypervigilance, and an exhaustion they have no language for. Coping skills and psychoeducation matter, but clients often stall when the parts driving the symptoms go unaddressed. In this one-hour Lunch & Learn, we’ll look at how Internal Family Systems (IFS) offers a clear, compassionate framework for treating PMADs. You’ll see how to work with the protective parts that show up in the perinatal period, approach the parts underneath without overwhelming your client, and bring IFS alongside the regulation and symptom-focused tools you already use.
